Check that a channel is ready for activation

Activation opens a live exchange of availability, rates, and bookings. Complete this checklist for one property at a time and retain who authorized the change.
Accommodation identity#
Mandatory gates before channel activation
- 1 Identity and listing Verify team, property, operation, capacity, and the listing’s exact identifier and URL.
- 2 Pricing Confirm baseline, assigned rate plan, sellable months, prices, and representative minimum stays.
- 3 Availability Reconcile future bookings, blocks, and at least one occupied, blocked, and free date.
- 4 Managed infrastructure Confirm operation and OTA authentication are prepared with no outstanding errors.
- 5 Authority and cutover Record owner, window, platforms, and which system will stop controlling the calendar.
- 6 Post-change proof Define in advance which price, availability, and booking will be reconciled immediately afterward.
Do not activate with an open gate
A missing booking, occupied date shown free, price without a source, dual writer, or ambiguous mapping blocks activation.
- The team, property, and operation are correct.
- The operation is enabled.
- Capacity, beds, and cleaning fee have been reviewed.
- Every OTA card contains the correct listing, identifier, and URL.
- No other Holidario property points to the same listing.
Pricing#
- The global pricing baseline is configured.
- A complete rate plan exists.
- Every month you intend to sell has an assigned plan.
- You checked the price and minimum stay on several future dates.
- High-demand dates and season changes produce the expected result.
Use Review prices and availability before activating channels for the comparison.
Availability and bookings#
- Every future OTA booking appears in Holidario.
- Owner stays and maintenance blocks are recorded.
- You compared at least one occupied, one blocked, and one available date.
- You can explain which system currently controls the calendar.
- The responsible person selected Confirm Review on the operation.
This mark confirms an initial review. It does not replace later checks after bookings or prices change.
Channel Manager and OTA account#
- Infrastructure for the operation finished without an error.
- The property appears under Channel Connections.
- The OTA authentication task is complete when required.
- The listing card has no pending connection error.
- An approved cutover plan exists if another PMS controls the listing.
Authorize the change#
Before activation, record internally:
- the responsible person;
- the date and cutover window;
- included properties and platforms;
- the system that will stop controlling availability;
- the check that will be run immediately afterward.
Do not activate if#
- a future booking is missing;
- an occupied date appears available;
- a price has no clear source;
- two systems may write to the same calendar;
- you cannot confirm the listing or room you will map;
- any infrastructure, authentication, or connection error remains.
In any of these cases, retain screenshots without sensitive data and ask for help. Do not try activation to see whether the problem fixes itself.
