Getting started
Start here if you are part of the cleaning team
Join as an employee, complete only assigned cleanings, and verify the device before the first service.

On this page
This path is for somebody employed by the agency as part of its cleaning team. It is not the onboarding for an external provider, and it does not include the planning, assignment, or quality-control work that belongs to supervisors and managers.
Your scope#
Your work in Holidario starts with the cleanings the agency assigns to you. From a task page, you can review the rental and instructions, start the work, complete the checklist, provide evidence, and record the close.
You do not need to open complete reservations, guest data, finances, channels, or property configuration. You should not reassign, cancel, or close somebody else's work unless the agency has given you another responsibility and a specific procedure.
Verify the work device#
The task view is intended for field work, but its compatibility has not been accepted end to end for every phone, browser, or screen size. Before the first real service, the agency must use a test task without sensitive data and verify the intended combination: sign-in, task link, start action, checklist, camera or file picker, upload, retry, completion, and visible confirmation.
If any step is missing, do not use that combination for real cleaning work. Continue on a device the agency has already verified, or hand the work to the responsible person. Offline operation is not assumed: keep the originals and treat a change as saved only after Holidario shows it as confirmed again.
1. Complete your first access#
- Sign in with your own account and verify the email.
- Accept the agency invitation with that same address.
- Confirm in the user menu that you are inside the correct team.
- Wait for the agency to configure your employee access and assign a cleaning. The invitation alone does not create work.
- Open a known task from its notification or from the link supplied by the agency.
If the team appears but the task does not open, do not create another account. Ask the agency to check your status, access, and exact assignment.
2. Reach your first sign of success#
Your onboarding is ready when you can open a task genuinely assigned to you and confirm its:
- rental, date, and location;
- available access and cleaning instructions;
- checklist and requested evidence;
- current state and next action; and
- person to contact if something does not match.
The first cleaning is digitally complete only when Holidario shows the Completed state, every required item is checked, and the requested evidence is visible. Physically finishing the work does not replace that confirmation.
3. Follow this routine for every service#

- If your agency records working time in Holidario, clock in when your workday starts and clock out when it ends.
- Before travelling, open and review the assigned cleaning.
- Confirm the current date, rental, location, and instructions; do not reuse those from another stay.
- Select Start cleaning when the work actually begins and wait for In progress.
- Check each item after completing it.
- Upload the requested photographs or videos and wait until they appear in the gallery.
- If you find damage, keys or supplies are missing, or instructions are impossible, follow Report and hand over a cleaning incident before closing.
- Select Complete cleaning once and confirm the final state.
What each material state means#
- Pending or assigned: you can review the task, but should not check the list yet.
- In progress: execution is open; complete the checklist and evidence in this phase.
- Completed: the agency can see the recorded close. Do not reopen it to correct a different task.
- Not found or access denied: the team, your access, or the assignment does not match; it does not necessarily mean the task was deleted.
- Upload pending or failed: the evidence is not confirmed even if a local preview remains.
Recover a task safely#
- Incorrect details: stop before travelling or starting and confirm the work with the person responsible.
- Old link: if the task was reassigned or cancelled, do not travel based on a screenshot.
- Start or close not confirmed: reload once and check the state before pressing again.
- Item becomes unchecked again: review the connection, reload, and retry once.
- Photograph or video fails: keep the original, restore connectivity, use the available retry, and verify which files arrived before selecting them again.
- Accidental close: notify the person responsible before using the reopen action because it changes the state coordinating the team.
Do not duplicate a task or use a colleague's account to resolve a blocker.
Escalate at the right time#
Stop the normal flow and immediately contact the agreed person responsible if you cannot enter the rental, keys are missing, there is a risk to people or property, significant damage appears, or the instructions contradict the real situation.
For a Holidario failure, keep the task identifier, time, action, exact message, and a screenshot without guest data. Follow Ask for help with the right information; do not send passwords, access codes, or guest documents.
