Getting started
Use onboarding checklists and goals
Work through pending tasks in order, understand automatic completion, and recover hidden goals without losing progress.

The Pending Tasks tab turns account setup into a live checklist. Holidario adapts it to the plan, enabled features, and records that already exist, so two teams will not necessarily see the same tasks.
Who can use it#
The tab appears to people who administer the team. You need an active team and a valid subscription or trial to see tasks. Without a plan, the panel shows Choose plan; without a team, it shows Create team.
Progress belongs to the team, not one person. Coordinate with whoever is carrying out the onboarding before recording a manual result.
Understand the states#

- Required: blocks launch readiness and completes when Holidario detects the real result. It cannot be dismissed or marked manually.
- Recommended: reduces risk or later work and may depend on another task.
- Optional and Learn: may be marked done or Dismissed when they do not apply.
- Needs attention: a dependency or required configuration is missing.
- Connected or Completed: Holidario detected the result, or an allowed manual completion was recorded.
A completed row is not an operational guarantee. Open and verify the destination whenever it affects payments, channels, compliance, or guest data.
Work through the checklist#
- Open Dashboard > Pending Tasks.
- On an Agency account, complete Launch readiness first.
- Open the next available action. Unfinished dependencies appear as linked labels.
- Return to the tab after saving. Some tasks update automatically after Holidario detects the record.
- Use Search & filter by area, status, or priority as the list grows.
- Select See all tasks to leave the recommendations-only focus mode.
- Use Mark done or Dismiss only where the button is offered and the recorded outcome is true.
If an automatic task remains open, do not work around it with a manual completion. Check the destination record, active team, and listed dependency.
Use guided goals#
Goals group steps that must be completed in order. You can start:
- Onboard a property owner, covering their account, property, operation, channels, and procedures;
- Onboard employee, when the plan includes HR;
- operation-preparation goals that Holidario creates from existing pending work.
The person must register before an owner or employee goal can start. Enter their exact email. In an employee goal, sending the invitation, accepting it, assigning roles, and creating the employee profile are separate steps; resend is available only after the displayed waiting period.
Locked steps open after the preceding step completes. Some operational steps offer I'll complete it later. Deferring allows the sequence to continue, but does not claim that the work itself was completed.
Hide and recover goals#
A completed goal is hidden automatically. You can also hide an active goal from its visibility control. Select Show hidden goals to find it and Show goal to return it to the normal list.
Hiding a goal does not delete records, invitations, properties, or progress.
Errors and recovery#
- The tab is missing: confirm the active team, an administrator-level role, and that this is not the platform team.
- There are no tasks: check for a valid plan; a genuinely completed account shows the all-clear state.
- An action is denied: the checklist can identify team work, but the destination screen still enforces its own permissions.
- Progress does not update: reload once and confirm you saved in the same team. If it persists, give support the task, destination, and real outcome.
- A goal rejects the email: the account is not registered, the email differs, or that person is already on the team.
Completion criterion#
Onboarding is not complete merely because a percentage was reached. It is complete when all required tasks are detected as done, recommended work has been consciously decided, and an authorized person has tested critical workflows using safe test data.
