Create a property's rental operation

The property identifies the physical accommodation. Its short-term rental operation contains the setup needed to manage it and, later, synchronize it. Create only one active operation of this type for each accommodation.

Before you start#

Confirm that:

• the correct property already exists and its name, address, and owner are correct;
• you are working in the right team;
• you have permission to create operations;
• your plan allows another operation;
• Holidario Channel Manager is available in your account.

Holidario manages the technical Channel Manager connection. You do not need an external account or API key. If the form says the service is unavailable, ask for help instead of looking for third-party credentials.

Start from Properties#

1. Open Properties.
2. Find Properties missing rental setup.
3. Select Set Up Rental for the correct accommodation.
4. Confirm that Property is already set to that accommodation.

You can also open the property, go to Operations, and select Set Up Rental. This shortcut stops appearing after an active short-term rental operation exists.

Complete the operation#

1. Enter a name your team can recognize without checking the address.
2. Keep the operation enabled if you are preparing it for use. Do not use the disabled state to hide incomplete setup.
3. Confirm Short-Term Rental Operation as the type.
4. Complete the required sections shown by the form, including minimum prices, capacity, beds, cleaning, and key handover.
5. Add OTA listing details only when you can verify the listing and its identifier.
6. Review every step before saving.

The form retains the selected property, but it does not certify that imported or entered information is correct.

Confirm the result#

After a successful save:

• the operation appears under Property > Operations;
• you can open it from Operations;
• Pending Tasks shows the setup areas that still need work;
• the property is ready for pricing and Channel Manager infrastructure setup.

Continue with Prepare the short-term rental operation.

Errors and recovery#

• Plan limit reached: do not create a second property to work around the limit. Review existing operations and the account plan.
• Set Up Rental is missing: check whether an active rental operation already exists or whether you lack permission to create one.
• Holidario Channel Manager is unavailable: do not enter external keys. Ask for help and include the team, property, and time of the attempt.
• Required fields are highlighted: correct the specified fields and recheck the selected property before saving.
• The operation appears under the wrong property: stop and ask for help; do not duplicate it to compensate.
