Getting started

Find your way around Holidario in your first session

Your menu does not have to match someone else's. Holidario combines the team's plan, your roles, and authorization for specific resources to show the work you need.

Use header search to open reservations, properties and operations by name, reference or identifier. On mobile, tap the magnifying glass beside the title. Results stay within your active team and permissions.

In standard record lists with a table, click the text in any row column to open that record's detail page. In compact or mobile layouts, tap the card title. Checkboxes still select records, and the three-dot menu keeps the available actions. You can also focus a link with Tab and open it with Enter, or use the browser's option to open it in another tab. This shortcut uses the same permissions as Show.

1. Confirm the context before working#

  1. Open the user menu.
  2. Check the name of the active team.
  3. If you belong to several agencies, switch to the correct team before opening a property, reservation, task, or ticket.
  4. Also verify the property or period shown on the screen before saving changes.

The active team determines the data, roles, notifications, and preferences used in that session. The signed-in person's name is not a substitute for this check.

2. Start with your role path#

Choose the Start here guide for your role. Then use the dashboard to find pending work, alerts, and shortcuts. An administrator may also see an onboarding checklist; an item marked optional should not delay the first essential task.

The dashboard loads only the widgets on the open tab. It shows Loading widget… while preparing one; if This widget could not be loaded appears, select Try again once and confirm the active team before continuing.

Do not try to configure every module in the first session. Complete one real, controlled task with your own account first.

On mobile, Home, Notifications, and Menu are permanent bottom-bar destinations. The remaining position is role-specific: for example, a linked external cleaning provider sees Provider profile, while the ordinary menu uses its default work shortcut when that action is permitted. If an external provider sees only the three permanent buttons, confirm the active team and provider link with the agency.

3. Interpret a module that is missing#

A missing module does not prove there is an error. It may mean:

  • it is not included in the active plan;
  • your role does not grant that action;
  • you need authorization for a property or record;
  • the team or resource is disabled;
  • an earlier prerequisite is still missing.

Return to the Start here path for your role to confirm which work belongs to you. If you expected a specific option, follow the access-denial guide before requesting broad permissions.

4. Verify the device before depending on it#

A product workflow is not verified merely because its menu or screen appears at a particular size. Before working from a phone or tablet, use your own role and a controlled record to test that you can open the available menu, find the resource, complete the required action, see validation, and confirm the result.

If a control is missing, text is clipped, or the result is not confirmed, do not improvise or repeat the action. Continue through a larger-screen procedure your agency has already verified, or hand the work to the responsible person. Do not assume offline operation.

If an action does not finish on the tested device:

  1. keep the exact error text;
  2. confirm that you are still in the correct team;
  3. do not repeat a payment, send, or completion action until you check its result;
  4. reopen the record from its list;
  5. ask for help with the identifier and approximate time.

Open Holidario from your home screen#

You can add Holidario from your phone's browser. Installing it as a web app lets it open without the browser's address bar or navigation controls. The clock, battery indicators, and Holidario's own navigation remain visible. This does not verify every workflow on your device: perform the checks above before relying on it.

  • iPhone or iPad: open Holidario in Safari, choose Share > Add to Home Screen, then confirm Add. On iOS/iPadOS 26, keep Open as Web App enabled when offered.
  • Android with Chrome: open Holidario, open the three-dot menu, and choose the app installation option. Depending on the version, it appears under Add to Home screen or Install and create shortcut; confirm Install when offered. A shortcut that opens a normal browser tab keeps the browser bars.

Then open the installed icon. Its entry point is the dashboard; sign in if prompted and check the active team. Installing it does not expand your permissions or provide offline operation.

If the bars remain, check that you opened the web app icon. An older shortcut may need a fresh installation from Safari or Chrome. External links and links that open a new window may display browser controls. If installation is unavailable, continue in the browser and use the help guide, including your device and browser version.

First sign of success#

Orientation is complete when you can identify the active team, open your first piece of work from the menu or dashboard, and explain who to contact if an option is unavailable.
