Troubleshooting

Understand why a reservation action is missing

Distinguish permissions, property scope, modules, and states that hide or disable reservation actions.

For
  • I manage my own rentals
  • I own or administer an agency
  • I manage operations
  • I work at the front desk
  • An agency manages my properties

Reservation tabs and actions depend on role, authorized properties, plan, and reservation state. Two users on the same team may intentionally see different options.

Quick checks#

  1. Confirm the active team.
  2. Verify that you are on the correct reservation and property.
  3. Reload once after a role or team change.
  4. Check whether the reservation is cancelled or marked as a no-show.
  5. Determine whether the function needs a module outside your plan.

What controls the main sections#

  • Edit or cancel: general update and cancellation permissions; normally administration.
  • Check-in: permissions to read, create, or update traveller records.
  • Chat: conversation and message read access; sending also requires permission and participation.
  • Cleaning: cleaning module plus task/reservation permissions.
  • Documents: invoice permissions and document availability.
  • History: broad reservation authorization.
  • Keys: access-point module and key permissions.
  • No-show: its specific permission and a date after check-in day.

Front desk and operations managers have specialized actions but not necessarily permission to create or edit the whole reservation. A property owner may have read-only access to authorized properties.

What not to do#

  • do not request a full administrator role for one task;
  • do not use another person's account;
  • do not switch to another property or reservation to find a similar button;
  • do not treat a 404 as permission to guess a manual route.

Request access or help#

Tell the administrator:

  • the exact action needed;
  • reservation and property;
  • operational reason;
  • access duration when temporary;
  • message or state displayed.

If you see information for another property or guest that should be outside your access, stop viewing it and report it immediately.

Expected result#

The missing condition is identified and only the necessary permission or module is granted, or the task is routed to someone already authorized.
