On this page
Header search opens reservations, properties, operations and other records without visiting each list first. Results depend on the active team, its subscribed features and your access to each record.
Open search#
On desktop, select Search anything… in the header. You can also press ⌘ K on Mac or Ctrl K. On mobile, tap the magnifying glass beside the page title to open a centered search box. If scrolling has hidden the header, scroll back towards the top of the page.
Search uses the same presentation as form selectors: a dropdown on wider screens and a centered box on small screens. A tablet may show a magnifying-glass trigger while opening the results as a dropdown.
Find and open a record#
- Confirm that you are in the correct team.
- Type at least two characters from a name or reference. You can search for words or fragments anywhere and combine several in any order. For example,
mar lujocan find an operation named “(Ejemplo 27) Lujoso apartamento junto al mar”. Each word must appear in one of the record’s searchable fields. - If you know the internal identifier, enter
#42. A numeric identifier can also be searched with a single digit. A booking platform's reference differs from the internal identifier. - Check the resource type and identifier beside the name. Different resource types can share the same number.
- Select the result to open it. With a keyboard, use ↑, ↓ and Enter. Esc closes search.
Search shows up to twenty results, with at most five of each resource type. Add characters to narrow the matches. Exact identifiers appear first, followed by exact names or references, complete words, field prefixes and other fragments. For example, New Oropesinka appears before Joseph Newgarden when searching for New. Matching parts of the name and detail are highlighted where visible. Fragment matching does not correct spelling mistakes.
Some resources can only be found by their identifier. Settings open their corresponding screen. Embedded items, such as messages or traveller forms, are accessed from their reservation, conversation or main screen.
If you cannot find a record#
- No matching records: try a word or part of the name or reference and check the active team. Search covers the identifying fields available for that record type; it does not search notes, messages or attachments, or show records outside your access.
- Search could not load: select Try again when your connection returns.
- Your session or team changed: reload the page and check the team before searching again.
- The record no longer opens: it may have changed, been deleted or become unavailable to your account. Check its list and follow the access-error guide.
Search requires a connection. Closing it clears the text and results; it does not keep a search history.
