Configure the global pricing baseline

Define high season, minimums, and shared rules before creating and assigning rate plans.

The global baseline defines the shared limits and rules Holidario uses when calculating prices. It does not replace a rate plan's monthly prices or assign that plan to a property.

This account-wide configuration workflow is for owners and agency administrators responsible for pricing.

Before you start#

You need access to Price Calendar and permission to update its configuration. The current screen can also show Quick setup to someone who has only create permission, but saving requires update permission; a visible button does not prove that you can complete the change.

Prepare five decisions:

which months are high season;
the percentage increase for Friday and Saturday nights;
global minimum nights;
the minimum low-season price;
the minimum high-season price.

Use amounts approved by the person responsible for pricing. These values are operating guardrails, not automatic market recommendations.

Save the baseline#

Open Price Calendar.
Go to Prices and Discounts.
Select Quick setup under Configure pricing baseline.
Select at least one high-season month.
Enter a weekend increase of zero or more.
Enter a global minimum stay of at least one night.
Enter positive minimum prices for low and high season.
Select Save baseline.

Holidario keeps your form values when validation fails and identifies the field to correct.

Confirm the result#

After saving, Pricing baseline updated appears and you return to Prices and Discounts. Reopen Quick setup and confirm that all five values match your decision.

Next, create a rate plan.

Errors and recovery#

High season is missing: select at least one month; an empty selection cannot be saved.
Price rejected: use an amount greater than zero and check the decimal separator.
Minimum nights rejected: enter a whole number of one or more.
The tab is missing: your plan lacks the feature or your role lacks calendar access.
Quick setup is visible, but Save returns access denied: you probably have create permission without update permission. Do not use another account or keep retrying; ask the account administrator to review your role.
You do not know which values to use: do not invent a baseline just to clear a task. Escalate the decision to the person responsible for pricing.
