On this page
An operation page gathers how a rental is run: its operational data, its rates, and its calendar of reservations and blocks. This guide covers the routine review: finding the operation, reading its status, and verifying a specific stay. It does not cover creation or initial setup, which belong to staff with editing permissions.
The correct outcome is being able to answer, with the page open, which reservations and blocks the rental has in a given month and which stay each date belongs to, without relying on old screenshots or external messages.
Before you start#
- Confirm the active team before interpreting any list or amount.
- You need read authorization on the operation. An owner managed by an agency sees only the operations the agency has authorized; a short list can be correct.
- The tabs and actions you see depend on your role and permissions. Another person seeing a tab does not mean your account is missing something.
Open the operations list#

- Open Operations in the main menu.
- The Operation type selector opens with Short-term Rental Operation selected. Keep that value when reviewing short-term rentals; select All operation types only when you need to find another kind of operation.
- Locate the operation by its name, or use the name search when the list is long.
- Check the operation name and the linked property and address before opening it. Two operations with similar names can belong to different buildings.
An empty list is not always an error: with the default filter it can mean this team has no short-term rental operations authorized for your account. Check All operation types and switch teams if you work with several agencies before requesting access.
When you select one or more rows, bulk actions intended only for short-term rentals appear only while Short-term Rental Operation is selected. Changing to All operation types hides those actions. Holidario also checks every selected operation when you submit: a stale or mixed selection is refused instead of applying a rental-only action to another operation type. A bulk action without an operation-type restriction remains available under every filter when your role permits it.
Pull future reservations from the channels#
A person who can manage the team can ask Channex to load future Booking.com and Airbnb reservations for several operations:
- Keep Short-term Rental Operation selected.
- Select only the operations you intend to review.
- Click Pull future reservations and wait for confirmation that the batch was queued.
- After it finishes, review each calendar and reconcile the expected reservations by channel before treating that data as the availability source.
Holidario discovers the current Booking.com and Airbnb connections associated with each property. When one Airbnb connection contains several selected properties, it is requested only once during that run. Batch confirmation proves that Channex accepted the request; it does not by itself prove that every expected reservation is already visible in Holidario.
This action does not synchronize rates, minimum stays, or availability and does not replace Sync channel calendar. Wait for imported reservations to appear in Holidario, verify their dates, state, and channel, and only then synchronize the calendar when appropriate. Provider-loaded historical bookings may also omit some extras or financial details, so do not treat them as reconciled without review.
Open the operation page#
The page shows information in tabs. Depending on your role and permissions you may see Details, Financials, Rate Plans, Rate Overwrites, Calendar, and History; some may not appear for your account.
- Open the Details tab and confirm the linked property is the expected building.
- Review the property and owner side information when available.
- Use History if you need to know when a value changed, not to undo anything.
Always verify you are in the right operation before reading amounts or dates. The most reliable way is comparing operation name, property name, and address.
Read the operation calendar#

The Calendar tab shows the month with each date's daily price and minimum stay, together with the reservations and blocks occupying it. While rates load you will see Loading rates...; wait for it to finish before interpreting the month.
Reservations and blocks load for the whole current year and the whole following year, from 1 January of the current year through 31 December of the next. The property summary calendar uses the same period. Outside those two years, a month without visible stays does not confirm that the dates are free; verify reservations and blocks before committing to a stay.
- Navigate to the month you want to review.
- Identify the occupied stays and blocks of the month.
- Click a stay to open its card with Check-in, Check-out, Nights, Daily Rate, and Total.
- A date without a reservation does not guarantee it is sellable: the minimum stay, the price, or a block can prevent a specific booking.
Nights counts the whole stay between Check-in and Check-out, excluding the night of checkout. Changing months or crossing a daylight-saving change does not shorten the stay. The card's Daily Rate and its booked-night prices are the gross Total divided by those nights, rounded to two decimals; they include cleaning when it forms part of the total. Free nights show the available rate for that date. On a day with a checkout and a new check-in, the booked price belongs to the arriving stay.
This calendar is a review view of the operation. If your job is changing rates or availability and you have that permission, use the pricing screen following Review prices and availability.
The separate Review calendar availability panel used for OTA activation preparation appears only to people who can manage the team. Its absence from a read-only account is intentional and does not hide the authorized calendar.
Verify a reservation or a block#
Inside a stay's card, click View full details to open the calendar event. From there:
- Confirm property, dates, source, and status before drawing conclusions.
- A managed owner should follow the minimum-privacy review and use only the data needed for the query.
- If you received a notification about this stay, the opened event is the current source; the notification is only the alert.
If the event does not open, your authorization over reservations and events can differ from your authorization over the operation. Do not ask for a broader role: request a review of access to that specific resource.
Request blocked dates#
If your role does not allow editing the calendar, the Calendar tab may show Request Blocked Dates. This action sends a request; it does not block dates by itself.
- Click Request Blocked Dates and select the dates on the calendar.
- Review the Selected Date Ranges and add a reason if appropriate.
- Click Send Request and wait for the Request Sent confirmation.
- The request stays pending with the agency. Do not make plans that depend on the block until you receive their confirmation, and do not repeat the request to draw attention.
Use Cancel Selection to leave selection mode without sending anything.
Read the agency response#
You can also open PMS > Block Requests, beside Reservations, from the sidebar or the full mobile menu. The entry requires read permission and the feature to be available for the team. The list initially shows pending requests; turn off Pending Only to find one that has already been reviewed.
The Operation column identifies the operation linked to each request. In the compact layout, it appears as a card detail. If that relationship is no longer available to your account, no name is shown.
Select View Request in the notification to open a read-only page with the property, dates, reason, current status and Agency response. Status-change emails include that response in quotation marks when one exists. The page shows the current response; the email retains the response present when the notification was generated.
Managed property owners can read requests for properties they remain authorized to access within the active team. Reading does not allow them to approve, reject or change notes. Only users with edit permission see Review request.
If the link does not open, check your session and team and ask the agency to review your access to that property and its requests. Do not use another account or repeat the request. If the agency asks you to correct the dates, send a new request with the specified range.
States and empty results#
- Empty operations list: there are no operations of the selected type in this team, or none is authorized for your account.
- Bulk action is absent: confirm that Short-term Rental Operation is selected and that your role permits the action.
- Import queued: Channex may still be processing the request; do not repeat it while the batch is active.
- Missing tab: your role does not include that information; it is not a page failure.
- Month without stays: it can be correct; it does not equal guaranteed availability for any booking.
- Loading rates...: the month is not complete yet; do not interpret gaps while it loads.
- Block request sent: the dates remain open until the agency approves it.
Errors, denial, and recovery#
- You cannot find the operation: confirm the active team, select All operation types, and search by the property name; then ask whoever administers the team whether the operation exists and is authorized for you.
- Bulk action is refused: clear the selection, select Short-term Rental Operation, and select the intended rows again. Do not try to submit a mixed operation-type selection.
- Reservations do not appear after the pull: confirm that the operation has an active, correctly mapped Booking.com or Airbnb connection, review the batch outcome, and escalate the operation, channel, and execution time without including unnecessary guest data.
- Access denied when opening the page: request authorization for that specific operation; do not use someone else's account.
- A stay's event does not open: ask for a review of your access to reservations and events of that property; the operation and its reservations are authorized separately.
- The data does not match another system: do not correct anything from this screen; note the operation, dates, and exact difference and escalate it as an exception.
- You see an operation that should not be yours: stop viewing it and immediately notify whoever administers the team.
To escalate with useful evidence, follow Get help and include team, operation name, reviewed month, and what you expected to see, without guest data you do not need.
