Getting started
Use the Owner Pending Tasks checklist
Complete an Owner account in the order Holidario expects and know which launch steps require assisted onboarding.

The Pending Tasks tab is the setup checklist for your Owner team. It adapts to the plan, existing records, and each property's state, so the rows you see may differ from another account.
This guide starts after Holidario has provisioned your Owner workspace and an active trial or subscription. If you see Create team, Choose plan, or no Owner workspace, account provisioning is still an assisted step. Do not create an Agency team or use another account's workspace to bypass it.
Understand what the checklist proves#

- Required means the recorded result is needed for the corresponding launch path.
- Recommended, Optional, and Learn describe lower-priority or educational work. Complete or dismiss a row only when that choice is true for your operation.
- Needs attention means a dependency or required record is missing.
- Completed means Holidario detected a record or an allowed manual acknowledgement. It does not prove that prices, availability, legal data, or a live channel are correct.
Return to Dashboard > Pending Tasks after saving each section. If an automatic row stays open, verify the active team and destination record; do not mark another row complete to compensate.
Follow the Owner setup order#
The checklist can hide work that does not yet apply. Use this order without expecting every row to appear at once:
- Tax identity: complete the billing identity requested for your Owner team.
- First property: create the property manually and verify the saved record. A row may still use import wording; the URL importer is not the default path for a new external account.
- Rental operation: create the vacation-rental operation attached to that property.
- Operation basics: complete rental basics, licence and legal details, effective company or owner, beds and capacity, key handover, and guest procedures.
- OTA listing data: record only the platform, listing identifier, public URL, and other listing data you have verified.
- Pricing: configure the OTA pricing path and check the resulting prices and minimum stays on real dates.
- Channel infrastructure: start the infrastructure preparation only after the property, operation, listing data, and prices are correct.
- Channel acceptance: reconcile the calendar and obtain explicit confirmation before authentication, mapping, or activation is treated as complete.
Work on one property first. Repeat the sequence for the next property only after the first one has passed the relevant gate.
Know what is self-service and what is assisted#
Documented self-service preparation#
You can use the public Owner guides to create a property manually, create and complete its rental operation, add verified OTA listing data, prepare prices, and initiate the Channel Manager infrastructure task offered by your account.
Assisted steps#
The following are not proven public self-service workflows for a new external Owner account:
- provisioning the Owner workspace and its trial or subscription;
- approving use of the Booking.com or Airbnb URL importer;
- OTA authentication, listing mapping, migration sequencing, and final activation;
- resolving a calendar-review task when the expected Calendar entry is not visible;
- any external certificate, provider credential, or legal setup whose responsible person has not been agreed.
Use the onboarding contact and channel agreed for your account. If no contact or channel has been assigned, the assisted gate is not complete: stop before entering credentials, changing calendar authority, or activating a listing.
Outside this Owner path#
The Owner plan has one team member. Agency workforce goals such as Onboard property owner, employee onboarding, offices, cleaning teams, and external-provider administration are not substitutes for your Owner checklist. Direct-booking and analytics capabilities are also not launch evidence unless Holidario has explicitly accepted those workflows for your account.
Verify each launch gate#
Treat readiness as a sequence, not one percentage:
- Account ready: correct Owner workspace, active plan, and tax identity.
- Property ready: one accurate property and one complete rental operation.
- Pricing ready: verified price and minimum stay on representative dates.
- Channel preparation ready: correct listing data, reconciled future reservations and blocks, and infrastructure task completed.
- Channel live: authentication, mapping, calendar authority, and activation explicitly accepted.
- Daily operation ready: the first real reservation can be found and verified in the agreed operational view.
A completed task can support one gate without completing the next. When evidence is missing or states contradict each other, use How to ask for help and include the team, property, screen, time, and exact error text.
